United we can make a difference

Every day in Oakville, people find themselves in need of support from their community. Children are hungry, youth struggle with substance abuse, single mothers work tirelessly to support their children and seniors need assistance to carry out daily tasks.

UWO provides a means for donors to invest their dollars with others to increase the impact of that donation. This is the basic concept behind UWO funding. It is strategic, impactful, and maximizes the community’s reach by combining resources for optimum benefit.

None of us do it alone. Without the expertise of community agencies, the commitment of volunteers, and the generosity of donors, our success as a community would not be possible.
